Creditplus Car Finance

I'm 6 months away from finishing a Trust Deed and have my fingers crossed that my little 10yr old car will keep going for another couple of years to allow me to save up. On the chance that it doesn't (it's getting spluttery and doesn't like starting early in the morning), I had a look online for companies that will provide finance to people with poor credit histories. I had a look at Creditplus's website and wondered if anyone has experience of this company.

My ideal would be to save for a couple of years to get another car but if mine dies a death before that, I'd like to have a fall back. As soon as my trust deed finishes, my contribution to that will be going in a savings account. I don't want to spend a huge amount on a car but I do want something that will last me a while. I hate car shopping so don't intend to do it for a long time.

I would save if you can, see what you can buy with the cash then. Your car may just have dirt on the plugs, also if diesel may also need glow plug change
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

Nah, it's a petrol with 110k miles on it. The plugs were replaced about 3 months ago and the cylinder head, timing belt and service done. I'm going to try to save as I can get away with no car for work. I can cycle there so hopefully that'll put off the inevitable for a bit.

I had a car with credit plus a couple of years back and they are good to deal with and friendly.
The only problem is the APR due to it being aimed at people with adverse credit.
The lenders will only finance you a car with a value whereby if you can't keep up the repayments, they can sell it at auction and pretty much cover their finance, hence making you a lower risk so to speak. The payments are going to be over 100 quid a month on average over a 5 year term.
Who are you to judge the life I live? I know I'm not perfect and don't live to be. But before you start pointing fingers - make sure your hands are clean. Bob Marley - Legend.

I would save and buy a decent car, you can get a good one for under a grand.

I would do anything but be in hock to these people.

    Good luck.

(I got a unfashionable 02 Rover 45 Turbo Diesel last year which is great for £900)
