I've used these many times, and send loads every Christmas, and have never been spammed.

Thank you, this looks excellent, will definately send some of these.

PS How do I say your name???0 -
HI Matthew
Actually I have no idea! I've never had to say it aloud but mentally I say 'Saxwyn' as the other way sounds a bit rude.
But since you were kind enough to ask I have googled Anglo-Saxon pronunciation and found you pronounce both vowel sounds 'eh - ah' without a break between them, putting the emphasis on the first. Thank you BBC!
Seaxwyn was an Anglo Saxon queen, who persuaded her husband King Raedwald to stay true to the pagan gods when he'd been converted by visiting Christians. That's all I know about her and I chose the name when various others I tried proved to be taken.

I must say I've never heard of Seaxwyn either, but nice choice. Mine is much less interesting being my own name and I even managed to get a typo in there that I can't put right! Ho hum.

Well she clearly is a really obscure footnote in history and I'm glad to have inadvertantly contributed to her revival.
I was stunned to find that Google found only three links for Seaxwyn: two of my posts at moneysavingexpert.com and one poem about King Raedwald (which I've read before and where I got the name from).
Wikipedia doesn't mention her name but has a nice story where she stopped Raedwald murdering a guest. She was clearly an honourable and persuasive person.
My own first name is really common so it's nice to have such an exclusive new one!
Thank you for setting me off on this little research project and I hope your friends like their e-cards!Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
For £4.50 pa the jacquielawson site is unbeatable. These aren't just e-cards, like most of the free ones - they're fully animated pieces of artwork, with decent music. Try the samples provided.0
