Here's a tip I always recommend to people: stop using expensive deodorant and start using deodorant crystal. I haven't purchased anything else for 10 years, now.
You can buy a deodorant crystal for about £5 and it will last you about 2-3 years!!!!! You run it under the tap and apply to under arms. I PROMISE, you will stay 'pong' free for exactly 24 hours. It's environmentally safe, too. Everyone I know who has tried it is instantly converted.
You can get them from John Lewis, some chemists and even Ebay.
If you're interested in the 'but how does it work' clever bit, here are the details:
When applied, crystal deodorant leaves a minute film of crystallised salts on the surface of the skin. It is NOT absorbed into your body and does not clog the pores, so perspiration continues (which is a good thing - it's one of nature's ways of eliminating waste products).
The crystals have the very special property of inhibiting the growth of odour-causing bacteria.
