The last time that they had this offer on I got both varieties of mussels. Now, I LOVE salty food, but these were verging on inedible(I did manage to force them down though....).

Looking at everyone elses comments Im thinking I just got the extra salty batch, unless anyone thought the same?......I'm just wondering whether its worth having another go?

I found them pretty salty too but some mussels I tried from Sainsburys were even saltier and really awful.

depending on prices of peppers and nectarines elsewhere, i will get these if they are the best offer around

    Juice for me thanks

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Bump.

Garlic mussels day today (only getting a few packs for the fridge as I'm reducing my groaning freezers), some apple juice also.
Lidl also had half-baquettes for only 19p the other day, so would go well with the mussels to mop up the sauce.

    Happy shopping.
