nationwide fixed rate: when does "your" payment reduce the actual balance?

hiya,
I have a nationwide fixed rate.
I put money in yesterday (friday).
Today (saturday)
It appears in the "Payment Received" section.
But it does not seem to have taken any money off of the "Balance Outstanding"
Obviously, I pay interest daily, and I want the overpayments to affect my "Balance Outstanding" immediately.
anyone out there with a nationwide mortgage have any idea?
many thanks,
yogi

Did you know what the balance was before the payment?0

The balance is adjusted as soon as the payment is received but the online banking can take a day or 2 to reflect this.0

If I make an overpayment on the 10th say It shows on my account but the term does not go down and get notified till then following month.0
