You do get the delivery back if you return them within 7 days, it's in their t&c's (took me a while to find it again!)

This is the law under distance selling regulations, just in-case anyone think's M&S are doing them a favour.
I've just done a dummy order for something in the PerUna sale & is insisting on home delivery. Although I did buy some sale jewellery last week & it let me order that for instore pick up. M&S online is such a disappointing service.
    Booo!!!

#Sorry, didn't know were else to put it,and getting free delivery i thought it would be ok :o

Well I, for one, was pleased to read about the free delivery - I've placed a few orders over the last couple of weeks and the website was definitely NOT allowing free delivery to store of sale items.

Not entirely convinced that the email you got was correct, though. Has anyone actually managed to get free delivery of sale items to store? Maybe you could reply to that email and ask them exactly where it states that, and how you can place an order - because when I tried the option for store collection vanished for sale items.

  • When I returned all my items a few weeks ago, I had to tell them I was entitled to a refund to my postage and they didnt believe me at first then when they did they made me have it back as a credit note not on my card!

thank you so much violetta and cammyjoe and everybody who helped me. A refund is to go onto my card in the next 5 days.onto my card.
Just wonder why they never told me i was entitled to a refund when i first emailed, and why they don't make it plainer
Thank you elm, I would never have found it myself.

To get a full refund (incl p&p) you have to usually write or email (will say on their website) to say you are claiming a full refund under the Distant Selling Regulations - if you just send stuff back they won't refund the postage. This is the same whereever you buy online (unless anyone knows different). but they're not going to advertise the fact.

I've done it wth QVC and no problem.

Now that's interesting! I've always lost out on returns to QVC!

Will it also work with clothing catalogues - the ones where they charge for delivery but offer free returns?
