Looking for bridesmaids dress asap please high street or maybe online help

Hi there was wondering if you guys could help me out,posting this for my other half,we are getting wed in sept and going overseas,we should have planned this last year but just a few months ago we decided to get wed this year,we are looking for bridesmaids dresses for the 3 girls.
We have left it too long to go to the high street bride shops to get things made with it being in sept and to be honest was looking to keep the costs down a bit as im sure the high street bride shops cost s fortune and if work is required even more.
My other half had got some dresses from amazon,but to be honest they did look ok but nothing that specail well thats what i thought,but my other half liked them and so did the bridesmaids,which if they all liked thats thats what matters.
Anyway we had to get the girls tried on and there was a lot of hassle with getting sizes as they seem to be off with there sizes when ordering and i ended up having to order 5 of them and send back 2 when we had them all fitted,but to be honest they sort of looked cheap and they was not that well made,bits has been falling off and even the zips we got worried they break when outting on,so we decided to send them all back and look elsewhere.
I dont know where my other half can look for these,i said its maybe better to take all three girls into a store and get them fitted there and then and not buy online as its a lot of hassle to get right sizes,messing about with postage and if any problems with them as in faults to send back and stock running out.
Is there any places on the high street where they have a good choice of bridemaids dresses as maybe my other half has not tried or looked there yet,or where they show the range online and can be delivered to store and return easy?
If we have to buy online again i really want to not mess about too much,we have a girl who is 29yrs about size 12 a girl aged 12 about size 8 and a girl about 17 and size 10.
I have heard with bridesmaids dresses your better going a size up,is that right?
Anyone want to share where they got there dresses,how much and how quick they was able to get them,i have heard you can get these things made in china and get some lovely dresses,but come on they need to be made,are they gonna be ok,come in time and will they fit doing it that way.
I am not sure what i am looking to spens on the dresses,depends on what they look like end of the day but was thinking in the range of say £50 to say £90 each for the three girls.
we need to try and find something else now and would be greafull of where to look,i have said look online like bhs,debs etc,but im not sure if they have what she likes,who else is there,did asda not sell stuff once before cant seem to find there wedding range anymore,anyone hope you guys can help us out

maybe you could also look for "evening maxi dresses" rather than bridesmaid dresses can sometimes end up being alot cheaper x

Also forgot to add, there are lovely dresses out there if you take away the bridesmaid word and jsut look for evening/ occasional dresses. Good luck

Have a look at the 'Coast' website, they have some gorgeous dresses which aren't neccessarily bridesmaid dresses, but are perfectly suitable. That's where I got my daughter's bridesmaid dress from.

I think Denenhams sell Coast dresses too.

You should check in H&M, they have some gorgeous dresses in at the mo, chiffon, long, pretty summery colours for around 40quid or less!
