Hovel lady - ha! Thanks. I just like lists, you see, keeps me on track!! I've got a crazy long list for winter prep, from the Preparing For Winter II thread... just you wait for that one!! Haha.

I'm feeling quite ready for whatever gets thrown at me now. Spent the weekend planning this week's food, this month's money & housework. I like to have everything in order & organised, I get all flustered and stressed otherwise.

Can't believe how well I'm sticking to my diet, I never last more than a day usually! Looking forward to my jacket potatoes with cheese & beans for me tea later :)

Got £7.37 from eBay selling paid into my account today. As our month starts early (on the 20th), this means we are now up to £73.44 out of £150, for our Make £5 a day in August challenge.

    To Do List
    [STRIKE]Send eBay parcel[/STRIKE]
    List 5 things on eBay
Make bread (getting my breadmaker today - £10 bargain!)
    [STRIKE]Make lunches for OH & I[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Check we've got everything for tea[/STRIKE]
    Sort clothes
Check Yougov/Top cashback/Freebie sites - off to do this now!
Check online banking - and this!
    Change bedsheets
    Water sunflowers
    [STRIKE]Drive at 60mph to/from work[/STRIKE]
    Make £2025 in 2025 #18 - £569.66/£2025
    1p savings challenge #32 £24.85/£667.95

    March - 0/15 NSD, £189.29/£168.75 made, PAD £72/£186, £184.87/£400 GC

Just checked Top Cashback - got £1.02 pending, so our total is actually £74.46.

I also have 100 points with Yougov - think I'm going to count this when I do a survey, rather than wait til I get to 5000 points... what do you think?

I got my cheque from yougov the other day and I didn't know whether to bank it or frame it! It must have taken me two years to amass the necessary amount of points :S
    :jOverdraft = Gone!! (24/6/11)

    Grocery shopping ~ £17

Its taken me a year to get 1950 with YouGov. I find the surveys quite interesting though.

You seem to be doing really well. Four years may seem like a long time but it will go quickly. Also if you have an aim at the end of it (like trying for a baby) then it might spur you on to reduce the time.

    Good luck :)

Wooooaaaaahhh... okay, I am *definitely* counting them per survey! Haha. Thanks both. Well done *doodle* on reaching that milestone then!

I just sorted through all my old clothes to find some to sell on eBay, I've got a huge pile now! I also used my new breadmaker for the first time - I love it! Nothing like the smell of HM bread really is there?

But, the best news, I found a tankard of coppers that OH had been collecting in his teens. We had chucked it in the back of the wardrobe (because I thought it was all foreign), and I found it while sorting out the clothes - £6.03!! WOOO! This brings our balance to £81.49/£150. Wow.

I've done quite well with my list today. I'm on a course tomorrow, so free food and drink all day! And petrol reimbursed, but my parents are taking me as they are going that way, so free money! Well, I'll give them some I guess!

Off to eat some bread slathered in butter now. Diet, what diet....

Just checked my online banking, and it’s really confused me… my direct debits are still (trying!) to be taken out of my old account, even though I can *see* that it is set up on my new account. A previous one was returned to old account, and then the next day was taken out of new account. Weird. It was supposed to be easy as new account were supposed to sort everything out. On the list of direct debits on the old account – there is NOTHING! So strange. Need to probably phone somebody.

Written my reply to a final demand letter. It’s only for £117, but we still can’t afford it. Hope they are nice to us :s

Spent £1 on my lunch, and didn’t drive home at lunchtime. This being good stuff is so boring!

Have a lovely weekend folks x

    To Do List (weekend)
    Make bread
    List 10 things on eBay
    Nails
    Eyebrows
    Buy something purple for funeral
Sort out plants in box outside
    Clean inside kitchen drawers/cupboards
Wash sheets at mum's (so can put outside to dry)
    Stick to diet
Go food shopping (with list already written)

Hehe. I just read all these posts from almost three years ago. Wow. I was supposed to be debt free with a baby by now!
Well since then, I have been diagnosed with ME and am no longer able to work. We also got married :D Our debts have crept up to an all-time high and we have just started a DMP with StepChange in order that I don't need to go back to work too quickly.
Our DFD from SC is in 2039! Yikes. In reality it shouldn't be that long as my car hire purchase finishes in December and will add another £130 to repayments. Plus I am recovering from ME! So will eventually go back to work (although probably part time).
Things are looking brighter for the first time in two years.
