Found this company on the first page of a google search for perfume and assumed that it would be a reputable online seller.

To cut a long story short, I made an online purchase and have had no joy in both receiving the order and the subsequent follow up attempts at contacting the company and receiving a refund or explanation..

The email address on their website does not respond at all and they have mysteriously withdrawn the contact phone number.

I have also found out that ISIS have withdrawn their Internet Seller safety approval as from this month!

If you want further proof as to the dodgy credentials of this company, just google "perfumesuperstore problems" and take note of the sheer amount of customer complaints.

Why trading standards have not shut them down I do not know?

Affiliate Window regret to inform you that Perfume Superstore will be closed on the 27/05/2011.
Please remove all existing links by this date. All remaining commissions will be submitted to the merchant for validation on the date of closure. Thank you for your efforts in promoting this merchant.

Following weeks of pursuing the client for payment of affiliate commissions we are yet to receive funds and are now beginning legal proceedings.
We regret to inform you that it is unlikely that you will receive payment for outstanding commissions but in the event that we are able to get part or full payment we will ensure that this is passed directly to affiliates.

Consulted MSE site after trying to purchase from theperfumesuperstore last evening, only to have my card details rejected with the message "There has been an error when we tried to Authorize your payment card:
• The Status we received back from the bank: INVALID
• The Message we received back from the bank: 4020 : Information received from an Invalid IP address.

If you continue to have problems please either contact us on 08450 949 799 or your card issuer."

My credit card provider assured me that no transaction had even been attempted. Seeing the other MSE posts, I realise that although I now won't be quite so fragrant as I would have liked, I've had a lucky escape.....

I know someone else having similar issues dating back to the begging of the year. Not good.

I was advised that a non-delivery for Mother's Day would be refunded - guess what? Nothing since. Will now write to them/their administrators... hmmmmm
Still nothing on their website.

If you have paid by credit card then you will be protected and they will issue a refund! Contact your CC provider ASAP
