hi guys, i just saw this and done it, but then saw that as the book is not published yet - you wont recieve your other item untill that item is ready to ship - and so i called amazon up and they confirmed this so i cancelled my order as i wont get it in time for xmas!

so any1 who has ordered it recently may want to cancel it as the other item they orderded with it (i.e the pen drive) wont recieve it in time for xmas, regardless of the estimated delivery time

savan: weird how amazon is publishing user reviews of the Hellmann's book when it isn't yet released. Seems best to buy the Kingston as a present for yourself, then. (Though even more confusingly, my order had a December 21st despatch date listed against it, now it's changed to December 20th.)

oh yeh i will order the book, i was just flagging it up for people who may have ordered the pen drives or something else as a present expecting it to be delivered before xmas - which unfortunately wont be the case

Yeah .. I noticed that ... mentioned it on my 1st post .... checked my order and it said 23rd .... although I do not expect to receive it by then but the items are for me anyway

It has been released ... not sure why they have stated that, noticed it myself too A lot of MSE'ers have already received their copy I think Hellmans were giving away 50,000 free copies. Not sure if all 50,000 have been given away yet or not .. and if they have ... will our ones still be honoured The code still works, so I'm hoping it will be

hi ally & withabix: funny thing was, before your posts I really wasn't that bothered about the sandwich book as I can't, er, store stuff in it or what it's about (well, maybe archive some lettuce). Now though I'm looking forward to it & feel (for a change) guilt-free: we always buy Hellmann's, never own brand anyway.

There are only 19 copies of this book on ebay. I expected more. Don't get your hopes up, though, as only one copy has sold so far. One seller has optimistically described the book as 'collectable!!!!'. It has not sold, even so.

Why did you want 3 copies of the book? If it was just to get the free postage, surely the 3 items you bought would have come to £15 - even so you could have put the order with one book - you may have deprived 2 other Moneysavers taking advantage of this offer.
