Hi
Hope someone out there can help.
I bought a suit on ebay - labels say it is 'Classics' but it was sold as 'Next'. There is no mention of 'Next' anywhere on labels - just simple label with 'Classiscs' and a catalogue type number on it.
Can anyone tell me if Next do a range called Classics which doesn't have Next anywhere on the label? Everything I've had from Next before has Next on a nicely sewn in label.
Thanks for any help you can give.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming ~ WOO HOO what a ride!0 -

I might be wrong about this but when I went in a Next Clearance outlet they had a dodgy cheaper range that is not sold in the high street stores and I think it was called classics. Maybe try posting the query on one of the threads about the clearance stores and see if a regular shopper can confirm it.0

The dodgy cheaper range I've seen in Next is labelled "Lime".This site has saved me a fortune :money: ...it's also cost me a fortune!

Hi,
I also have the same problem I bought a dress which in the auction said it was Lipsy it has arrived but the only tag I can find says 'Blu' is this Lipsy or not?0 -
Classics is nothing to do with Next. I would put a claim through ebay to say the item wasn't as described (after asking for refund from seller).
Lime is a discount brand launched by Next, they are currently running a trial of the brand in Clearance stores and a few actual Lime stores.0 -
Classics is a range from Marks and Spencer, its tailored for the, how shall i put it, more mature woman (i.e. old codgers :rotfl: )0

As long as the label is not on the oustide, no one will know.0

I thought as much (ie not Next but catalogue). Luckily it only cost £10 including p&p and it would be £5 return p&p so for the £5 it cost me I'll keep it - even if I only wear it once it'll be worth that.
I had posted feedback (on her request) and rated it as positive and said 'not Next as described but nice suit & worth what I'd paid'. I felt this was an honest response but I received a rude email from her which said I had accused her of being a liar on my feedback. Until I read her email I had never thought she was deliberately lying, I thought she'd just made an error. Oh how innocent I am! But I then started to worry that I had done her an injustice and that maybe it was Next, though from the (lack of) quality I would have been surprised.
I can stop worrying now - I knew someone on here would be able to help.
Thanks for all your replies.0 -
The Classic Collection is one of the names of a range in M&S but they have the M&S logo on the label. The M&S name is 'Classic' not 'Classics'.
