I've got quite a few questions regarding mortgages, any help would be much appreciated.
two applicants for the mortgage with big age gap. My husband is 53 and I'm 32. I currently don't work. Whos age would the mortgage companies use when calculating max term? and what max term could we expect to get?
also, how realistic is it to get ltv of 95% or less these days? do any mortgage companies offer this?
Thank you

Very few mortgages around over 90%.
Your husband's age probably means a shorter term, upto retirement, unless he can provide extensive evidence of mortgage affordability in retirement.I am a mortgage broker. Thank you.
And how would it work if I was to get a job?
Would the term then be calculated on my age or still go by the oldest applicant?
Thanks again0 -
