The only two things I buy there are nicky toilet rolls 2x9 pack £4 excellent quality and the extra mature cheese £5 for 1 kilo cheapest cheese around, grate and freeze in small bags if you dont use too much at a time, hth0

I will look out for the duck when I am in there on saturday.
Just thought of another product I buy in there as its cheaper than anywhere else the stilton it is by no means long clawson to be eaten with biscuits and port but ok for celery and stilton quiches or stilton souffles. hth0 -
I buy my bread from there (Hovis best of both) £1.50 for 2 loaves.
The kids love Bernard Matthews turkey drummers....everywhere else you get 4 in a pack for £1.00, at Farmfoods you get 6.
We used to get our milk there at £1.50 for 2x4lts...but its just gone up to £1 per 4ltrs (don't know if thats just our store or everywhere).
Banana and apples are cheap there and usually good quality.
They sometimes have really good offers on Quorn products...so if your a vegetarian they are always worth looking out for.:)0 -
It does really depend on what you like to eat. They have loads of ready meals and frozen stuff so if that's what you want they may be good value.
I'd agree with the Nicky toilet rolls and I find the Nicky kitchen roll is also good value and good quality. I buy kipper fillets there as it's the only place I can get large bags.
To be honest, the prices there are creeping up (or leaping in some cases) and since the milk offer stopped I don't go in there so often. Frozen veg can sometimes be a good price but you need to compare prices with Iceland and whichever other shops you use regularly.0 -
I like their big bags of sausages for a £5, also their bags of chicken breasts 3 for £10 I think.
If you get their vouchers (spend £25 got 2.50 off etc) they accept them if theyre a bit out of date too.Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!

nicky loo rolls, kitchen rolls, bought some ham at the weekend £1 for a biggish pack of offcuts from "propper ham" really nice ham.
boxes of broken biscuits always a nice suprise as to what varieties you get.
as others have said milk and bread (crumpets and teacakes in offer as well)
they usually have good offers on pepsi or coke. usually far better than the other supermarkets have on.
their own version of i can't believe its not butter is easily as good as the propper stuff and often on really good offers.Lead us not into temptation...
