Okay, technically turkey
But anyway, nabbed a pouch of piri piri marinade yesterday at Mr T's for 5p
And as the OH and I love Nandos etc, jumped at it.
The turkey is sat happily in the fridge in piri piri marinading, but I'm trying to work out what the heck to do with it!
I have some lettuce so may work on some kind of salady counterpart, but that doesn't seem like -much- tbh. Any thoughts?
The guidelines are cheap, reasonably healthy (I'm on WW) and no mushrooms or big bits of tomato (him)...

I think the obvious things are carbohydrates. I normally have something like a cous-cous salad or souch with the chicken or maybe some rice with vegetables.I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

I'm finding this a strange time to be talking about nandos, But we usually go with potato wedges and/or some kind of crusty bread and add cheese and griddled pineapple (with a bit of salad on the side!)
Damn, now I want nandos for breakfast :rotfl:0 -
We usually have it with roasted sweet potato, hummus and a big salad - and lots of extra chilli sauce!0

I don't know about chicken/turkey but I do a piri piri pork for the OH and piri piri tuna for the rest of us (the tuna is delish and OH loves the pork). Anyway I roast peppers and serve these on top of the pork/tuna and then serve it with savoy cabbage and baby new potatoes.
This is one of our favourite dishes and the piri piri sauce is so cheap to do from scratch (main ingredient is sweet chilli sauce)0 -
