hi this is my first time writting here. all help welcome.
i have a problem i am due to get some money in my account tomorrow. ever since i joined lloyds TSB i have always had my money in my bank on a sunday afternoon at about 12.30. today it has not gone in. i am abit worried as i have a college course to attend tomorrow and wont be able to get there. i have been informed by a friend that it has chnaged now and that banks have stopped money going out on sunday so it will be there tomorrow. is this right ? if not can anyone suggest what the problem may be ? i carnt get in touch with banks or anything till the morning

a lot of banks process payments at 2.30am or thereabouts as that is when their system backs up and changes day (much like hotels, pubs etc) I know this mainly through hotel work but also through the many 3am walks to atms trainee millionaire (aka not there yet!)0

thankyou i finally got the payment at 10 pm. and yes i can say i do the same as you ive spent alot of money on taxi's to get money out at early hours 0
