Hey guys
Can someone tell me how quidco works? Are there any hidden costs?
I was caught out recently be shopper discount and shopper rewards(i think thats what it was called) so as i'm sure you can all understand i'm a bit dubious about these things.
Many thanks in advance

There are no hidden costs, but before you join you should understand that you might not get your money. Even if you do everything right, the merchant may just refuse to pay and there's nothing you can do about it.
Try reading the Quidco threads on the referrers board first.0 -
Lots of cashback sites out there. Some charge no annual fee and still some do.
Some give less than 100% cashback, some give 100% cashback and some actually give MORE than 100% cashback rates.
Use the most cost effective one would be my money-saving advice - don't throw money away needlessly.
Definitely read up.

You sign in to Quidco, then go the the retailer ,(if applicable), via Quidco's site, i.e. click on the "get cashback" or similar.

No hidden costs, but quidco charge an annual fee of £5, which is taken from your earnings each year. (If you don't earn £5, then they do not send you a bill.)
On the other hand, Topcashback is completely free & generally the cashback rates are the same, although this can vary from time to time depending on the different offers available.0 -

Also with Topcashback there is a "Higher cashback guarantee"-

Top-ups also paid on the higher cashback. :T
This means you will never be paid a lesser cashback amount, no matter whichever sites promotes a higher amount. This also applies to so called "exclusives".
Topcashback also have a "Fair play policy", well worth it for any issues-
http://www.topcashback.co.uk/FairPlay
Some cashback sites just say, "Stuff you, you're not getting paid!!!!!".
