NRAM - advice

For years i been with Northern Rock and now NRAM - My current deal ended last year and on base rate (so no tie in). I had some problems 18 months ago and defaulted for couple months, (buried head in sand - silly) am now in repair mode for my credit file and worried i be knocked back applying else where and making my credit file worse.
I am in much better position now making last 18 payments.
i also took a un-secure 30k (27k now) which if i leave NRAM the % APR increases to 11%.
I'm on interest only
house value 300k
Mortgage 190k
Any ideas on new mortgage providers or simply stay with NRAM & overpay against the capital on the secured loan and continue to repair my credit file?

Being on interest only will restrict your options.
So although you say stay and overpay. You will merely be reducing the balance as you would if on a repayment mortgage. Though possibly a lower level.
Do you have a plan to pay off the capital debt?0 -
I dont have a plan in place no. Maybe's i give them a call and see what my options are.0
