Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming ~ WOO HOO what a ride!

    Congrats

Judging from your previous posts..must say your a VERY lucky person!
Thank you teenage_drama. But I have to say that I believe lucky is a state of mind. If you think you are a lucky person then you will be in all areas of your life. The converse is also true. So I beseech all you compers who say "I never win anything" or "I'm not a lucky person" to re-wire your brains to thinking that you are lucky. Think of all the great things you have in your life - kids, job, lovely home - whatever it is, and remind yourselves of just how lucky you really are.

I can honestly say I never won a bean until I started to think more positively about myself. Now look at me - I win loads of stuff. I AM a lucky person, but even if I never won a single comp, I would still think of myself as lucky, because I do have lovely kids, husband (now we're getting on again lol) etc.

My dd has Aspergers syndrome so it is awsome that she can think of her friend, as she finds it extremely difficult to think of other people day-to-day. She is smashing but she can also drive me . I honestly wouldn't have her any other way though, or any of my little darlings:)

    Here endeth the lesson :rotfl:

Well I can put you all out of your misery now:D

Well she has only gone and got herself THE must-have can't-find-in-any-shop dream girls toy of the year!!!!

CITV have sent her a Barbie pincess Genevieve doll with twirling light-up dress.

But that's not all. They have sent her the horse and carriage that goes with it!! My friend can't get one for love nor money. And there's NO WAY she is going to give this away LOL

    HOW CHUFFED IS SHE????????

Thanks for all your support guys. She is so happy with her present - good job I haven't bought her one :rotfl:
My sister has bought my other dd a Genevieve doll too, so they'll have one each (thank goodness) and hopefully they'll be able to share the carriage.

Word of warning though if you have bought one... You need a dagree in engineering to get the blimmin thing out the box:rotfl: it took me about 25 mins:eek:
