Joint Endowment Probs

I have been divorced for a few years but continued paying premiums for a joint endowment taken out with my ex. The policy has now matured but the insurance company will not give me my half without my exs signature. I have no idea where he is. I cannot understand this as I am only asking for half not all !!

    That is legally correct.
    I cannot understand this as I am only asking for half not all !!

    There is no such thing as half. Its all or nothing. You may wish to discuss this with your solicitor as the policy should have been sorted at the time of the divorce and assigned to you to stop this from happening.
