Best supermarket for gluten free food?
crockpot
Have have been trying to aVoid gluten for some time now as I know it does not agree with me. Last few days I have been in pain and look 6 months pregnant!
I try to be old style and cook from scratch, which helps, but am also on a tight budget.
Been to gp and will not test me, says to will only prove what I already know, but sure I have read that if I get Riga kiser I can get stuff on prescription? But I have to pay for them, so is it worth it? Cause looks like I would have to go back to eating gluten and think it's not such a good idea, pain and gloating etc.
Anyhow it looks like there are more gluten free stuff around now than when I looked before and that the price has come down.
But which supermarket is best for choice and price over all?
Thanks in advance

Having same problem! My Doctor advised me yesterday to give up wheat for eight weeks, argh! I made a similar post, have replied to mine so it's been bumped back up. The 'free from' ranges are so expensive.
You can get allergy tests done at Lloyds Chemist I think. Good luck!0 -
Check out Sainsburys (Freefrom range) - they always seem to sell this type of stuff off at reduced prices (75% off). I tried some biccies because they were cheap, but didn't like them..........the birds thought they were ok though.
