I am new to thread, posting and the other stuff, but I was just wondering how many competitions people do a day or week? and whether they still find it exciting.. the prospect of 'winning'. thank you

I was wondering the same thing. I've just started to enter competitions. Not expecting to win anything, but i'm bored as i was in a car crash a few weeks back so i can't sleep because of the pain. Instead of spending money online (which i don't have) i thought i'd try and win stuff instead. Lol. Hope many competitions are you entering and have you won anything yet??

It all depends on time, personally I believe the more you enter the more you win but of course you need that all important luck factor too, I was bored recently so did a little mini experiment with Twitter and comps I entered my a*** off for about a week or 10 days, I was retweeting the same comps probably 5 times a day, it worked though I won quite a bit very quickly including a sat nav (which hasnt turned up yet:() but I cant sustain that now I have other things on the go so I just stick to the main board comps on here(I only use MSE), I dont have time for the majority of dailys, monthlys etc anymore either but I do manage to enter about 50+ comps a day and I win quite a bit:D - good luck:D

I've only been comping 2 months and won a few little things but have been extremely lucky this week and won a holiday. I enter about 100 a day but give myself the weekends off. All wins are exciting to me and I only enter things I would like or could give to close friends or family. Personally I think it's well worth entering the dailys and I only enter from MSE. I do as many as possible. Somedays this means anywhere between 50 and 200 and other days this means none at all. I enter alot on Facebook and twitter. I dont generally enter blog competitions. I dont enter for tickets unless they are for themeparks. You have to find a balance on whats right for you. I just cant get through them all so I do what I can when I can.

Just do as many as you can and make sure you have a form filler and also a signature with your address set up on email. Makes it easier. Good luck. xx

I've been thinking about this too. I started entering comps regularly about a week ago and I can manage to enter 40-60 a day and I don't enter for anything I don't want.

My wins have been small so far but I'm crossing my fingers for a big one soon!

wow, now im WAY more positive.... ive been doing this 4 a week and annoyed my OH big time but the click clicking of the keyboard (as he calls it lol) by doing 150 a day.... still no wins yet though... hey good things come to those who wait..
