I had one of these done as a treat a week or so before my wedding, I've had them done a couple of times before. I lost a couple of inches but not loads, although I don't know if it would be different if you have the three sessions instead of just one.

I don't know whether I would trust them to lose all the lbs you want to, also the results aren't permanent so don't get it done too far in advance, otherwise all the inches you lose will come back. I think it's mainly water loss that causes the inch loss.

Could you do a low-carb, higher protein diet and more exercise instead? There's still a month to go so you could possibly lose up to half a stone (safely).

Not sure if you'll find this helpful but it was just emailed to me.

You know what I like to call those last 10 or 15 pounds that won't come off no matter what you do? Vanity pounds.
The term describes our desire to lose weight that, as far as our bodies are concerned, actually feels healthy. Today's society pressures us to want to look a certain way, so for aesthetic reasons we try to be thinner than our bodies want us to be. Personally, I have gained and lost the same 8 vanity pounds more times than I care to admit.
Losing your first 50 pounds might have been tough, but believe me, dropping those final few stubborn pounds is a whole different challenge. The body struggles to hold on to that last bit of fat for survival purposes.
Now, don't get me wrong — you can lose the weight if you want to, but it will require you to muster a tremendous amount of restraint and willpower. If you're really up for it, do the following for 30 days:
    1. Cut your sodium to 1,000 mg a day.
    2. Drink at least 80 ounces of water daily.
    3. Cut out processed foods.
    4. Abstain from alcohol.
    5. Train at 85 percent of your MHR (maximum heart rate) for 1 hour 5 times a week.
You can do a lot in 30 days — in fact, I can pretty much guarantee you will lose at least 5 pounds. And you'll feel like a rock star!

I wouldn't have one personally. How much does it cost?

With 6 weeks to go its very safe and healthy to lose 1lb per week if you wanted to.

I thought the dress was fitting lovely and it was just a case of your posture? Or did you just want to firm up a little?

Cutting down on portion size, alcohol, bread, chocolate, crisps, sweets, cakes etc, increasing water intake, fruit & veg intake and exercise are the only ways to lose weight healthily in order to keep the weight off.

Doing any one of those things will help. You don't need to do all of them, and its certainly not a good idea to cut out anything like chocolate or whatever as it will only make you want it more.

Exercise can be anything, swimming, gym, dvd's, classes trampolining, walking more, jogging etc. If you could just do one of those things for even 30 mins extra a week it will all make a difference.

    I've booked in for a set of 3 before me wedding on the 25th June :) I had my first one on Thursday. It does firm things up but I wouldn't say I lost a major amount of inches. Although they guarantee 6 inches from your first wrap, it is based on the following conditions;
    • You have a full body wrap done
    • You follow the 'after wrap instructions' to the letter & you don't gain any extra weight for 30 days following the wrap
I didn't have my boobs wrapped as I don't want them to shrink so the guarantee doesn't apply in my situation. Tbh, I'll not follow the 'after wrap instructions' to the letter either, althought I am doing some of them anyway as they're pretty obvious stuff.

Any questions about my experience, just ask & I'm happy to help!
