  • I've just got a sd card reader for £1.58 plus a free gift torch. I nearly bought a card reader on-line for £7.99 until I did a quick search on MSE and came up with this thread! Thanks op - this site is saving me (and costing me) a small fortune!

    I can't complain, 3 little lasers/torches for less than £2 delivered!

Have others read the "warning radiation" labels on the lasers? They make it sound so scarey!

Just ordered and received 3 more :D My colleagues at work really like them and keep wanting them, so I have just gone and ordered another 3! :rotfl:

It maybe that if laser pointer uses button batteries then there will be a little insulater in there to keep them from being discharged accidentally.Unscrew the end & check for a plastic disc.

Ordered 10 rechargeable batteries, when they arrived 4 had leaked, several were rattling and the rest didn't hold their charge for longer than 30 mins (in a wireless mouse). Emailed them and they said they were going to refund me, I'll reserve judgment until I get the money back!

Ordered 10 AA and 5 AAA - one AA dead on arrival and some (but not all) get very hot when charging (uniross charger with sensors - so it's not that)

I think they are this cheap for a reason and I certainly won't be leaving any on charge whilst I'm out of the house or asleep!

Ledshoppe will now send you a parcel of batteries, probably more than you require. :)

I recieved torches with dead batteries and they did that, then the "Fresh batteries guaranteed" thing appeared on their website a few days later :D

It probably made it worse for them by mentioning that 'Fresh batteries guaranteed' because they could have got away with it beforehand, and now if you receive batteries which aren't Fresh then you have a right to get a refund or replacement
