Please note; the following restaurants do not take bookings: Aberdeen - Union Square, Birmingham, Bluewater, Cardiff St. David's, Derby- Westfield, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Glasgow Braehead, Heathrow, Lakeside, London Covent Garden, London Leicester Square, London O2, Sheffield Meadowhall and Trafford Centre. There's no need to book, come on down, have a cocktail at the bar and we'll get you a table before you know it.

Says upto £20 in T&C
Yeah, I saw that in the email, but £25 was what the woman on the phone said when I phoned up to book a table; I won't stop them giving me another £5 for free :beer:
Incidentally, I see that Edinburgh is listed as one of the locations which doesn't take bookings, but they definitely do, because that's where I've got a table booked. So it may be worth phoning just to double check.

Hey all, just to let you know I went today armed with driving licence and passport which was handy as the server didn't believe one was me - good enough ID for everyone except TGI's!
I only got a discount of £11.48 which as far as I can tell is my side and main - for some reason no dessert or drinks, and nothing off of OH's food. Had been there that long I couldn't be bothered to argue so order carefully as they obviously don't just give £20 off your bill! I usually love it there but my food was overcooked and cut my mouth (sharp bit of chicken!!) so wasn't really worth the effort to be honest
Thanks anyway OP :T0 -
anyone know if the london 02 one accepts the offer?0

We ate at the TGIs in Covent Garden last night and got £20 off our bill. We had one starter, two mains, drinks and deserts, which (without the discount) would have bee £45. If I had been an 1986 baby too we would apparently have got £40 off! Luckily the DBF showed his passport and that was enough so it came to £25. (Might invoice my parents for the rest since its clearly their fault
)
We got there around 7pm, were told there would be a 40-50min wait but were seated after about half an hour.
Apparently that evening there was a group of 10, all of whom were entitled to the discount. One of the staff members said that TGIs were regretting the promotion. Having said that, Ive always refused to go to TGIs until yesterday and I liked it so much Im thinking of having my bday party there, so they have made some new customers!
Anyway, massive thanks to the OP for this.0
