Where to buy fabric?

Hi all
I would love to sew more, but I find fabric so expensive! I would like to make baby items like bibs, or burp cloths. But to buy the fabric makes it more expensive than buying a pack of say 5 ready made bibs!
Any ideas where I can buy some cheap stuff?
Thank you all

If you are in the london area, Shepherds Bush Market and surrounding shops is good.Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."

If your anywhere near Birmingham I can recommend the Rag Market (doesn't run on a Wednesday though).I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife
