Where to buy fabric?

Hi all

I would love to sew more, but I find fabric so expensive! I would like to make baby items like bibs, or burp cloths. But to buy the fabric makes it more expensive than buying a pack of say 5 ready made bibs!

Any ideas where I can buy some cheap stuff?

Thank you all

MY absolute heaven is abakhan their stores have massive baskets of remnant fabric sold by the weight and you get the most amazing bargains. If you have one near you it is worth a visit!

If you are in the london area, Shepherds Bush Market and surrounding shops is good.

http://www.abakhan.co.uk/ they have their own website. I have never bought off there though.

If your anywhere near Birmingham I can recommend the Rag Market (doesn't run on a Wednesday though).
