Mortgage one year after completion of IVA

Hello everybody,
Next month it will be one year after completion of an IVA (my name), always made payments on time; defaults etc will fall off credit record then. My wife does not have any adverse credit as such, though she is not on the electoral roll as she is not a British citizen; she has permanent residency however.
I appreciate the IVA is a massive issue. However can any mortgage brokers (or anyone who knows) tell me if any lender will look at the overall case as there are positives. For example, we are both nurses in permanent employment (I am in the NHS); both of us have been in these jobs for more than 5 years. Our joint income is £55 to £60K. At the moment we would only have 10% deposit which I expect won't be enough. We would be looking to borrow about 2.5 x joint income.
Would be really grateful if you could advise us of our prospects. Finally does anybody know a lender that does not ask the question 'have you ever been in an IVA/made bankrupt (etc)'.
Thanks very much.

There's a high probability that the lender you defaulted on could be your potential lender.
Suggest you wait longer and build that deposit before applying.0 -
Thank-you for your comment; are there any mortgage brokers that could comment please?0
