i got fed up with the crazy uk wii hunt so i just ordered one from the german amazon - it should turn up during the holidays. and it's cheaper than the uk price. if you've ever used uk amazon you'll be able to figure it out, especially with the help of the google toolbar translator

for all those like me still trying to get hold of one without wanting to pay the cost on ebay, I phoned game in stratford and northampton today, no deliveries. The chap at the Northampton store doesn't believe Game as a company have recieved any today

A huge thanks to everyone who's posted information on this thread.

One ended last night on eBay for a reasonable price so I went for that - all going well it should arrive for the 25th.

Anyway, being a studenty type sure I'll find another use of the forum!

yeah i tried the ebay route got one for £250 with sports & zelda then the guy decided when i called him to collect he wanted £290 nice huh so told him where to go!

our Wii arrived eventually from Game yesterday. my son is lovingly stroking the box looking at me with the big puppy eyes hoping I will say its ok to open it before christmas day. But me being the evil mother is saying NO - its for christmas!
