I know nothing about this, just seen them advertised on Gumtree, so maybe not the best ad.

I find it difficult to understand how someone who has worked hard for their degree would then go on to help someone else cheat ...

I'm a graduate and I really couldnt do this...plus, what if the student got a poor mark with your essay? Writing, styles of writing, etc move on at a really fast rate.

Editing & proofreading I should have thought is still the same, having had another quick look I see that's also advertised.
I remember seeing on here there are teachers wondering how to make some extra cash.

This potentially breaches university regulations and if you take on work like this then you are saying that cheating is ok. Also, it isn't fair to students who do work hard and write their own essays. Imagine if you went for a job and didn't get it because someone else had a first class degree grade, but then you found out that they had bought their essays from a company when you'd slogged your guts out to write your own.

Avoid it like the plague. If it's not illegal then it should be. I like their disclaimer here:

Why would someone buy a custom written report, dissertation or essay if they weren't going to submit it as their own?????

Editing and proofreading are fine but when you start adding your own chunks of text to improve the student's grade or just provide them with an entire essay, report, etc, then you're in a whole different ballgame.
