You couldnt pay me to go to Pontins LOL. No serious, if people just use them as bases they are fine. They are dirty and dated but for the price people shouldnt moan, just take some cleaning gear. I know when my kids were little and we had no money we would of rather had this break than nothing

I've been twice (free both times) and the summer one was fine but you couldn't pay me to stay there in December again. I have never been so cold in my life.

I'd go in summer though, if it was free or very cheap. We just had our sun holiday though, so won't be taking up this offer.

    Thanks for posting though.

My little boy loves the swimming pool at southport pontins, and there are donkey rides on the beach. crazy golf is free. There's a pub across the road which sells duck food, so you can feed the ducks and geese on the river. There's a nature walk, onto the beach.

Southport pier has a tram, and at the end there's a penny arcade where you can buy old pennies for 10p each. I'm getting all nostalgic thinking about it, it was such a lovely holiday for the children.
