Unfortunately, this thread is a week too late for me. I was going to get the Kodak last weekend but a mates "recommendation" suggested that the Fuji was better. Got it from Tecno on Monday for £131-80, hope that the small one is not going to be disappointed as she will be off shortly with it on her gap year.0

Again thanks for all your advice! I am tempted by the Samsung but realise the battery issue may be tricky - and it seems that the Canon A530 can be bought online for under 100pounds so i may go for that..But i guess it's i should wait for the sales!
Please add to this thread if there are any deals out there etc...
