You're missing an important fact here, ringing the paper won't get you far because they employ agencies to fulfil comps, I won several things where I got a similar email and it was from an agency...when the prize or paperwork arrived it was on their headed notepaper, but they don't mention it unless they need to as the comp is promoting a company.

Email them your address and phone number and ask them to ring you or give you a number to call them.
I am pretty sure paranoia is killing a good win here for you. yu give your name and other details every time you enter a comp...why worry about it when you've won one?

I won a Daily Mail comp last year for about a grands worth ...and a company called NDL or NDT arranged it all ...not a peep from the Mail at all. Even with NDL I was changing the people I dealt with a few times. I can find their number if you want it, its possible they are handling this too. I got an email asking the same thing, never a call all the way through and mine was quite a complex prize to arrange.

Got an e-mail from splendid comm confirming my win and apologising for taking so long in getting in touch.(they lost my e-mail details and had to get them again) They are arranging for my delivery and will contact me soon to arrange a convenient day and time:j
