I know how you feel - when I first did my assessment online it came back that I didn't have enough left over to do a debt management plan.
However after re - assessing what I could cut back on I finally got to figures that allowed me to 'qualify'. My understanding is that you need at least £5 per month per creditor spare after all your 'essentials'
My advice would be firstly to complete the online survey http://www.cccs.co.uk/) and read the advice that generates for you, and if you still don't qualify for help with them check out the CAB.
I'm sure you'll get lots more advice and support on here to, so do keep coming back and checking your thread/posting other questions.

    Hi there
If you have had a chat with CCCS, then you should have your Statement of Affairs information pretty much up to date. There is a sticky by southernscouser at the top of the forum that give you help setting it out.
There may be things that you haven't thought of that would help you cut back, and so have enough money to go back to CCCS.

You mention that you are self employed. Can you get another job to get some more money in? Or how about ebaying everything not nailed down for a short term injection of cash.
    best of luck
