Oh I see. Dont think I will bother, I've got 22 Doves now, more than a year's supply. Think I need to move onto the next offer!“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

My local tesco have not had the spray deodrant throughout the whole of the BOGOF, so I picked up a roll on, headed to diy scanning. The bloke wouldn't authorise the coupon as it has to state it can be used in tesco and it didn't have this or that....I think he even bought up an EU number.....so I just walked off. I now have to head back to tesco tonight because the wine I picked up on offer, I was given another other on the receipt!
Went into sainsbury for the roll on, no trouble.0 -

It's crazy that some stores won't accept the coupon at all and other stores will accept it for the completely wrong scent that the voucher is valid on. Tesco will defintely lose money on those ones. I don't know how people are doing it.
Went in yesterday, about the third or forth day in a row and again they were out of stock. My husband asked two SA in the beauty aisle if they had them out back and they said they wouldn't be back in until next week. Then he asked if he could get a raincheck to be able to use the vouchers after the deal was over. They were so rude and turned their backs on him for about three minutes while they whispered and checked their handheld scanner thing. Finally she turned around (somehow she knew we were still there!) and said "Yeah, they won't be in stock until next week". D'oh!! :wall:
So, my husband went to customer services and asked for a raincheck. The trout was very unhappy and was like, "What is the product? What is the barcode?"
It took about ten minutes of back and forth but she finally relented and gave us two promise vouchers and said we could use them with the coupons when they come back in stock.
Husband is so stubborn and won't give up and is obsessed with rainchecks now. He says, "If we can do it in the US, why shouldn't we do it here?"
I genuinely just wanted two bottles--not 500!
When did it become so acceptable for customer service people to treat customers like dirt? It seems like a backwards world sometimes!0 -
So far I've found its only Tesco customer services people that make you feel like dirt. But then Sainsburys and Asda dont seem to have that many price glitches!“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0
