I had problems with getting a local store to accept coupons the other day (one of which wasn't even a printed one!) and they made me wait ages before they finally decided they couldn't take them were really nasty and rude about it too so I fired off a mail to customer services - got a reply that my experience has been logged and they will be communicating with the store over it (although i'm sure they'll just deny rudeness and get other staff to support them and cover their a*ses) and told they will send me a £10 giftcard for the upset etc so may be worth mailing if it upset you as much as your previous post suggested?"You've got to cut your cloth to suit your wassname" Terry (my Dad), 1944-present0 -
If they don't accept internet coupons then why can you go to SuperSavvyMe and print of coupons specifically for Tesco, complete with the Tesco logo?
What a load of codswallop (to put it politely).
I understood this was one of those "up to individual managers" type of issue.
My local Mr T has always refused any printed coupons, as they said they had had trouble with photocopies in the past.
But since the demise of R&R I have tried a couple of printed coupons, and sa has accepted them without question.:T
Could be a case of a new manager there now
p.s I printed two off last night ( different names and emails) and am hoping to call in later....fingers crossed they are still accepting them0 -
My local Tesco were accepting 2 coupons no problem but they refused to accept two yesterday when my friend tried to use her coupons. She was told that only one coupon can be accepted as it is BOGOF.A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0

I got a few deods a while ago at my local Tesco bit then when tried next time was told that Tesco don't accept them as they don't have the safe coupon sign on them and should never have been able to use them there.0

CathWales - white tin, pink lid. There are around 10 different flavours of Dove.
No wonder people are buying so many if they taste good as well!
I can't believe how the store is treating some customers. It is shameful! They can be so intimidating, but everyone should stand up for themselves! We are not criminals. Tesco makes more than enough profit to worry about losing an extra pound on each shop, if you know what I mean.
Why get the security guard involved? It's ridiculous.0 -
Just used 2 fine,no problem:)Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0

Up until today I was not able to use these (or any others) as our local did not accept internet coupons (Inverness Eastfield way), but today the SA checked and apparently they do!!! So 2 used on the BOGOF deal, on SS till, no problems.0
