Adjourned AGAIN

Cath & I went to court this morning again....
Different judge, very nice chap actually, put her at ease.
Asked her if she has received the affidavit from the Open University, she hasn't, so he couldn't proceed with the set aside. He gave them 14 days to serve it upon her from today and then she'll receive a further date.
Just getting annoyed that the solicitors acting for OU won't co-operate in any way, shape or form and she has had to travel quite some distance to get to the county court each time, only for it to be adjourned.
Took her out for a meal tonight and at least no she has got an opportunity to get some more legal advice and further info from Money, Debt & Credit and also from CCCS (have spoken to PayPlan, they really didn't want to help her!)
Keep you updated...

Thanks for update D_M.
It may seem frustrating for your friend, but at least it hasn't been refused.
Try to organise that solicitor's appointment.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Just make sure you keep all receipts for travel expenses, then ask for them as costs when you win (to be given by the OU). Also you could ask for costs for the time you have had to waste.
But it is frustrating I know
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
