Is this SPAM? HOP! Cottage Break competition.

Hello Everyone,

I have received the following email:

"Hi xxxxx,

I’m contacting you on behalf of Universal with regards to the HOP! Cottage Break competition you entered – you’re one of the lucky winners, congratulations!

I’ll be organising the prize for you – all of my contact details are below so if you’ve any questions or queries then please don’t hesitate to contact me.

So as I’m sure you’re already aware, you have won exclusive hire of a country cottage for a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children - 12 and under) for a duration of 4 nights in a location of the winner’s choice in Mainland UK (subject to availability). The prize is valid until the end of May 2012 so you have plenty of time to decide when you would like to travel, however just so you’re aware you cannot take the prize over Christmas, New Year or Bank Holidays.

So to get the ball rolling, if you could first of all please confirm receipt if this email it would be greatly appreciated just so that I know it’s reached you.

If you could then also please provide me with a contact number that would be great, then once you have an idea of when you would ideally like to take your trip, please email me a selection of dates and UK destinations and I can look into availability for you.

Look forward to hearing from you soon.

Kind Regards,

Emma"

Is this a real win? Or is it spam? I can't find a competition with this title so I find it a bit strange.

Thank you!
Goal: Win a car (or cash to buy one :))! -- Haha goal from when I was a student. Never actually won this but got a good job instead.

What I achieved:
Car paid in full straightaway.
Two properties fully paid. Wohhoooo!

    It's real - I had one too.:j

It was posted by Youngski - Lindt Hop Daily Competition. You had to find the hidden bunnies? Ring any bells?

    Congratulations

:j Congratulations! I'm sure it is genuine as I have seen others posting on here that they have won. Think it was a daily Lindt comp.

Oh thank you so much for pointing me the right direction. I'm so happy :) we're really in need of a break :)

I find it odd that I didn't thank the poster, but I remember entering the one with the bunnies.
