Well, I am no better informed I am afraid. I called them a few days ago and was told they will get none until the new year. The reality here it seems is, the average peep answering your call or enquiry doesn't know (nor care to) a thing about the Wii and it's availability. Sad but true I feel.
I can hope tho! They said next Wed and I will be sure to call in to check
You can't have everything.... Where would you put it?0 -

Don't resort to panic buying on Ebay.
Here's one you want to avoid. Looks like some unlucky person is paying £00's for one game and a memory card. Nowhere in the advert does it state that it comes with the Wii.

Very expensive game....
Present bid at £276 with less than an hour to go..
He has done the same thing with an XBox 360 Game.
he has this written in the middle of a huge block of text
" note this bid is for items i) and ii) only. i am not selling a wii."
be very careful of ebay0 -
He does the exact same thing in the XBox 360 advert. Small print in the middle of the game description...
Item number 250061132221

Definately a case of "if you are lucky"...
Apparently Minworth (Just outside Bhm - the largest UK asda) had 20 wii's in at 1pm on tuesday. They were all gone by 1:15pm.
Starting to give up hope of getting the better half one before Xmas

Gosh I had to read the text through 3 times before I spotted it.....4 buyers per auction...shame ebay have stopped showing the bidders ID as they could have been contacted by some kind person. It's pure deception though....and the ID's do show after the auction so I feel a good turn coming on:rolleyes:
Drat: dutch bids don't show bidder ID's0 -
Have reported to ebay... hopefully they'll do something to stop it.0

Near the end of his blurb it states you are not actually bidding on a wii!!
I am dubious to buy one on ebay for this very fact, panic buying can make you blind.:happyhear We are not put on this earth for ourselves, but are placed here for each other.

just asked the seller of the Wii game how he sleeps at night.

From experience they aren't ever put out on the shop floor. You need to go to the electrical department CS desk and ask nicely.Joe_Millionaire wrote:So what is the best time to go when any are put on the shop floor
Tesco Extra at Sandhurst knew on Wednesday they would be getting some in Thursday morning - as I asked them that afternoon. Was told they would be arriving in the morning delivery by 8am, to go on sale (after being booked in etc.) by 9am. Got there at around 8.45am and got hold of one no problem.
It was strictly one per customer, and not many people seemed to know about them being available as there was no queue and nobody else around. They even doubled up the carrier bags for the console after paying so people couldn't see exactly what it was when walking out the store.
