    I went to the Lidl in Norbury and there was no evidence that they had ever existed there. No pricing sign, no gap for them. I then went to the Streatham Lidl and there was a price sign and a gap but no ice cream makers. There were at least 20 egg boilers, a load of kettles, toasters, pasta pots but no ice cream makers.

    Were the ice cream makers in short supply? Did anyone get one?
