I have seen sports shops before where you go in and they can analyse how you run etc and reccomend a good pair of runners suited to you. Just not sure if there is one in Belfast?

Preferably one that also doesnt charge you an arm and a leg for the service :D

Up and Running in Belfast, I got out of them a few months ago. They will video you running on a treadmill and work out your running style and recoment some trainers. You can then try each pair on the treadmill to see what ones are them best. They spent about 30 min woth me and to be honest I couldnt fault them. Much better than going to the normal sports shops ets

I've not been for fear that it's excessively expensive, but think I could do with expert advice because my running shoes keep nipping my instep.

If you have a budget then tell them and see if they can work within it. I think they'll do their best

    But good shoes do cost.

And get rid of the nipping ones, you could be doing yourself real damage!
  • I went to the Gotto Sports shop on 72 Stranmillis Rd in Belfast to buy running shoes. It turned out they also do FREE gait analysis and i was tested with different running shoes to see which ones is the best for me.

Not only that but they offer good prices on running trainers :)

You can see their site GottoSports, there is info about it there!
