    I think you mean Merlin... Like the name, they are great magicians. They will make £29.50 disappear from your bank account in a flash.

    They will also magically disappear once they have your fee.

    Considering the number of people who post on here alone (which can only be a miniscule proportion of the people who get taken in by this) I should say its very lucrative for those who decide to do this for a living.

    Until legislation stops them operating the way they do, I'd be expecting lots more to spring up.
