Tesco change exchange facility

Hi guys, first posting here. Not 100% sure this is really in the correct area but not sure where else to go.
Nevertheless, this is something that I stumbled upon in a Leicester branch of Tesco.
They have a machine located near the customers service desk where you can simply 'dump' your change into, and it will count them and provide you with a receipt with which you can use to spend in Tesco or cash in at the customer service desk.
The only catch is that they charge 8p (7.8p if i remember correctly) for every £1. So if you have a large amount of change and cant be bothered to count, sort and bag it or simply need quick cash (as I did) this is a rather useful facility!

I used one of these back in Feb when I was a bit brassic and ended up with about £55. OK so I had to pay their commission first, but far more fun and quicker than taking it to a bank0
