I wouldnt go to the store to get a refund, ill just say i swallowed a piece, got lodged in my throat and now I have nothing but extreme pain for the last 2 days. I cannot sleep, I shake at night, my pulse races, my feet feel numb and my tongue is cut open.

this is the cue for a sue.

If you do go to the store surely something extra for the inconvenience and expense is in order?

    Course it is.

The sense of relief at knowing you have been informed about something in time to stop you from being hurt should be that little extra you're looking for? ;)
  • There seems to be a spate of this at the moment - We have had several EPWs (Product Withdrawal's) in recent weeks all for the same reason:mad:

Two months ago I found a piece of glass in a Somerfields Ready Meal (Chinese) and took the offending glass and wrapper back to the store. I got my money back X 2 and also a £5 gift voucher. Company said they would let me know the outcome of their investigations but haven't heard yet - or is this the outcome today? (although Somerfields are not mentioned).
