I did a quick search, but couldnt see this mentioned...
Mr T has some Quorn products at 3 for £5...
The Quorn steak strips are £2.19 each so a saving of £1.57
I hadnt used these before - had used the mince in bolognaise and the pieces in 'chicken' curry and my darling monsters and my father didnt notice..
I was working late tonite, so made a tomato based sauce , added the 'steak strips' having told dad I had got some reduced frying steak, and left him to reheat it and cook some pasta.
Got home from work to find the 3 of them had eaten the lot.

I had a wife like you once, but I divorced her 15 years ago. On the form she stated that she had not done anything wrong, because she believed I would not find out she was deceiving me.
To this day she still says "I don't know why you dad left me, I did nothing wrong", and when the kids reply "because you were deceiving him" she says "yes, but I thought he wouldn't find out".
I had her down as the stupidest woman on the planet, but I think I was wrong. Even she didn't deceive her family then go on the internet and brag about it.
Now the only people she can deceive is her kids and her dad, and she still wonders why!0 -

I didnt aim to brag!! I was passing on a price thingy and also what can be done with it.. The reason I didnt tell them before they ate it was that they had in the past said they didnt like it (without even trying it) a bit like when they said they didnt like ketcup that isnt heinz!! They now know what they had for dinner last night and have had to admit that its ok and yes please can we have it again.."Aunty C McB-Wik"

We all know what you mean. You just illustrated how picky eaters can be won over to try new things, and be pleasantly surprised to find they like the alternative.
geordie joe's marriage breakdown has nothing to do with this topic. If it has been on his mind for 15 years he should seek help, he needs to move on.
