I got an AIP from Natwest, the offer I put in on the house was accepted and I rang Natwest even before credit checking the lady told me she didn't know how they had given me an AIP for the amount they did??
I had the information I gave the guy written in front of me and I gave her the exact same details although my CC balance had reduced by about £200
It annoys me as the 1st thing you do when looking at buying a property is contact lenders to see how much you can borrow and you put your offer in based on what they say they would lend you and it all seems a bit of a game of luck to me!
I rang the halifax and so far so good I have gone through the application process with them and need to go in to branch to provide last 3 wage slips and p60, hoping nothing else can go wrong now..fingers crossed
