Hiya girls and boys
I was just after a little bit of advise. I want to buy a bread maker and i keep finding nice ones and they go for more than i would like. at the minute i have around £50 in my paypal account thanks to selling some Perfumes i used to collect but just cant afford anymore.
After reading so many reviews i have decided that i want a panasonic. I intend to make a lot of fruity breads for my children's (i have 3!) yummy breakfast and using left overs for making bread and butter pudding at the weekend! and I intend to make lots of Pizza bases (which at the minute i make by hand) and pitta bread doughs. I think that my bread maker will be used every day, every other day at the very least, I have already been eying large (16K) bags of strong flour in Macro for £10 to give them a try and so I know that i need a bread maker which will be hard wearing.
The choice im left with is either;
1. spending more than i intended for a SD256 at Dixons which looks great but doesnt have the nut adder like i actually wanted (and genuinely think i will use often) BUT it will have manufacturers warranty just in case
2. buying a second hand 255 from e-bay I bid up to £30 but have already been out bidden and there is a week to go. but i am risking an un-honest seller and ending up with an item that doesn't work. But including postage this is already £40 and so only £20 less than a brand new...
Money is very tight but I NEED an item i know i can rely on. Please can you share your thoughts as right now i don't know what to do.

Oh never mind this, I have actually decided to buy the 256 from Dixons as long as they have it in stock next week. Only 2 left in my area at the minute
so i will just have to see. The £17 3 year whatever happens cover really sold me, its turning out a lot more expensive than i can probably afford right now but its going to save me in the long run and i break everything so the cover is really great for me.
Besides i can just add raisins / Chocolate at the start even if they do get a little more mangled im sure it will still taste good!Bankruptcy Supporters Club No.1790 -
Go for this one, if you can find it and it's a lot cheaper than the later models. Let's face it - it doesn't take much effort to sprinkle nuts and raisins in yourself, why pay more? I bought this one last year and I can't find any fault with it.0
