Milk and allergies

I know what I am posting might seem mad to some but I can 100% assure you that this is my experience. A while ago I used to suffer from really uncomfortable bloating - feeling like I was bursting out of my skin. This used to build up during the day and once I had eaten my evening meal and had a cup of tea it would leave me feeling awful. I went on a detox diet for a couple of weeks and got some prebiotics (powder and tablets) to see if I need to re balance my system. This did work and I felt better but the bloating crept back and for some reason I realised that it was Iceland milk that I used to use that seemed to make me bloat. So I shopped around and Farmfoods used to have the best regular deal on milk so I purchased it regularly from there for ages until recently. They stopped discounting their milk and so most supermarkets have deals on from time to time. But I started to buy my milk from Aldi and my god!!!! what a reaction I got from that milk! Hives - itching, irratated skin - I could claw myself to pieces and the only way to stop it was to have a regular antihistamine tablet (up to 3 a day) to alleviate the symptoms. I knew it was the milk in my tea and cereals as the symtoms would be intense about an hour after ingesting it. So I have gone back to using Farmfoods milk - no bloating, no hives, no nothing, just piece of mind that I can enjoy a cup of tea and cereals without suffering. Someone has suggested that the different reactions have come from whatever the cows have been fed on and to where the different shops use as dairy suppliers. I don't know about that but I do know that milk can be a problem for me and it it just might be for you too if you are suffering allergic symptoms and don't know where they are coming from.
Sorry for the long the post - I hope this helps someone.

I have never thought of that (different suppliers). I usually buy organic milk as we don't use a lot so although it is more expensive it seems a better deal having read about the horror stories of pus infected milk!
