Paid in Euros, but live in the UK!

Hello all,

I have been offered 3 weeks work in Ireland (which im taking) but I live in the UK, whats the best (cheapest) way to convert my Euro wages back into good old sterling?

Any help would be gratefully recieved!

    How are you getting paid? - Cash, cheque, bank transfer, etc? - If you can get it paid into your bank they will normally exchange it to pounds automatically. You might have to pay for the privilege or lose out on the exchange rate.

    They have said they are willing to pay me which ever works out the cheapest for me.
    I have a Halifax account the better half has a Nationwide account.
