Can i rescue this?

Yesterday i made a batch of Tablet (grainy scottish fudge stuff for those who dont know!) and im rather disappointed to say it hasnt set properly. It looks, smells and tastes just like tablet but is rather squidgy and not able to be cut into squares. Tried even popping it in the fridge but alas still a squidgy (but still very yummy) tray of tablet. I feel like i could rescue this somehow as its pretty much tablet just not firm enough, should i reheat and beat it again or? not sure at all really but help would be much appreciated.. it is yum as it is but not really suitable for being put into little bags for giving people or for popping into the OH's lunchbox! suggestions anyone?
I LOVE MSE! :money:

  • You can rescue it by reheating it for longer and re-beating it again. I've done it. Use the saucer test (drop some in a saucer of cold water to check how much it sets). :D
