Really worth being careful buying GHD straightners on line, for example site cheapghdsonsale on the uk domain .co.uk is a fraudulent scam site so avoid!

on the offiicial ghd website there is a list of authorised resellers inc website so hopefully people will check in future and avoid getting scammed

The general rule is unless it is the official GHD site, it will not have GHD in the website address. If it does have GHD in the website address you can be sure it is a fake.
And as poppy says, you can copy and paste the website address here on the official GHD site and it will tell you if they are an official stockist or not.

I bought mine from the official site, mine had a fault after three months, sent them back and they sent me a brand new pair within two weeks. I bought a second pair as a back up incase they break but they are 3 years going strong still
