Has anyone recieved theirs yet? My order is still showing as dispatching soon, and has done for the last 4 days. Argh! I've emailed them and recieved what looked like an auto response, so tried again.

I wouldn't mind so much if they hadn't extended the order date for Christmas delivery on supersaver to the 19th, and I ordered on the 14th. Wonder when / if they will respond personally, has anyone had any experience of complaining and getting through to a person?#

Any help gratefully recieved, though I think it is now too late...

Wow, I'm seriously impressed, only had to hang on the phone for about 3 minutes, which is great this time of year, and the really nice bloke on the other end has sent it all out express today, to be recieved either tomorrow or Saturday. I'm amazed, they must handle so many customers, especially this time or year, and they were great with me!

Mine had been dispatching soon for ages. But this morning had email saying being sent.

I oredered the i-Cat and sandwich book on the 14th. It has said 'dispatching soon' for a while, then it changed to dispatched on the 19th. It still said that it would arrived after 25th December...but in fact it arrived yesterday via Royal Mail!

So thumbs up to Amazon for that!:T

I suppose that they tend to err on the side of caution regarding estimated delivery dates so as not to create disappointment.

Have you checked the staus of your order today on the site?

I have emailed them about another order recently (not a good experience!) The reply took 2 days, was a standard response that did not answer my question and no further reply has arrived to mine.

Fingers crossed that your package will also be in the post very soon and will also arrive quickly, in time for Christmas! It is a cute little toy and a real bargain so thanks to the OP for pointing it out.:beer:

I've ordered a £10.49 Flash Disk which is only costing me about £4.50. Amazon have e-mailed me to say it has been sent without the Hellmans Book, which is out of stock.

My question is therefore, can I cancel the Hellmans Book once my "real" item arrives without incurring any penalties? I dont really want to pay another £4-5 for a book I dont want!

My i-cat was supposed to be delivered after Christmas but it turned up by Royal Mail this morning. Nice one Amazon. Hopefully everyone elses will arrive soon too

Yup, as promised, mine turned up today, I'm very impressed with Amazon (at least on the phone!) I'm sure lots of companies have problems, I feel it is more about how they deal with them, rather than expecting nothing to ever go wrong with such a big company.
